About
A premium, self-paced development programme for managers, supervisors and team leaders who want to support their people with more confidence, care and good judgement. Across six practical units, learners use the Notice, Ask, Listen, Support, Signpost and Follow Up framework to recognise changes, have honest conversations, respond appropriately when someone is struggling, address work-related pressure and maintain healthy professional boundaries. It is not therapy or clinical training. It is grounded guidance for the ordinary, difficult moments of leading people, with practical tools managers can use the following Monday morning. Who it is for Managers, supervisors and team leaders who have noticed a team member seems different and are not sure what to do next. What you do in each unit - Unit 1: People Don't Leave Their Lives at the Door. Notice changes rather than symptoms, and do a private check-in "not a detective story". - Unit 2: The Conversation Nobody Wants to Start. Make a start without making it strange, ask questions that open a door, and listen before fixing. - Unit 3: When Someone Tells You They're Not Okay. Respond with calm and dignity, offer practical support, and know when support needs to become signposting. - Unit 4: When Work Is Part of the Problem. Look at workload, priorities, communication and psychological safety, and change what you can influence. - Unit 5: Care Without Carrying Everyone. Hold a boundary that is "not a brick wall", signpost as a bridge, and follow through without hovering. - Unit 6: The Manager Is a Human Being Too. Notice what you are carrying and build a sustainable way to lead. Units 1 to 5 each end with a quiz, and the programme ends with a final assessment. What you receive 30 steps (articles and quizzes), built around six principles: Notice, Ask, Listen, Support, Signpost and Follow Up. Questions answered - Is this therapy or clinical training? No. The description says so, and the programme says "You are not expected to fix someone's life or become their counsellor." - Does it give me a script? No. The programme says the six principles "are not a script or a checklist to complete in one conversation". A taste of the first step "A change in performance is often a reason for curiosity, not proof of a cause." Read the story behind it: Someone Noticed https://www.wildlygentle.com/post/someone-noticed
